Secondhand Flannel is a tribute to the Seattle sound of the early ’90s. The same four guys behind Wicked Garden widen the lens to the whole era – Pearl Jam, Stone Temple Pilots, Soundgarden, Alice In Chains, Nirvana, Candlebox, Screaming Trees, Gruntruck, Mad Season, Audioslave, Foo Fighters, The Smashing Pumpkins, Bush and the rest of the bands that made flannel a uniform.
Troy is a die-hard fan of all things grunge and has been singing the anthems of ’90s hard rock since they first hit the air waves. His vocals will draw you in from the first notes and have you wanting more long after the mic drops. Troy also fronts Wicked Garden, the Pacific Northwest’s Stone Temple Pilots tribute.
Jeff is a multi-talented musician and songwriter who is equally comfortable on guitar, bass, drums, and more. He grew up playing ’90s rock on guitar and it shows in his ripping solos and driving rhythms. Jeff has played in numerous bands including bENDT (hard rock originals), Far From Given (’90s covers) and Wicked Garden.
Dave holds down the low end and loves the challenge of the era’s melodic, heavy bass lines. He has been playing guitar since high school, but discovered his love for the bass after teaming up with Troy and Jeff. When he isn’t in a flannel, Dave plays bass in Wicked Garden and ’80s and ’90s hits on guitar with Megabox.
Jesse is a true powerhouse on the drums! He was first introduced to the guys when a drummer from one of the supporting acts called in sick at the last minute. When the call went out to the audience for anyone who wanted to sit in, he jumped at the opportunity and proceeded to crush it. Jesse is a seasoned drummer who has played in several bands, enjoys teaching drums, and also plays in Wicked Garden.
